Account Packages
Thanks for joining us, we're glad you're here! After you purchase an Account Package one of our representatives will reach out to you for an introductory call. After this call you will be sent our contract, along with a marketing packet and several other documents we need filled. You may email this information to us or attach it to your order history in your customer portal.
Good question and we're glad you asked! Franchises set you up for failure right from the start and here's how it works:
- You buy into the franchise at whatever level they sell you at which costs X number of dollars. These accounts are usually under sold and have you working for sometimes less than minimum wage. What’s worse is these accounts are sometimes pulled from other franchisees and are already riddled with problems.
- They charge between 18% - 22% per month of that account depending on the franchise. This is for insurance, workman's compensation, bonding, franchise fees, race cars, etc.
- The franchise does the billing and in most cases doesn't pay you until the account has paid them. This is not every franchise but there is a handful that operate this way.
- Any extra services you provide like floor cleaning, pressure cleaning, window washing, etc. the franchisee still gets a cut of.
- Any referrals you get as a result of your hard work (you guessed it) they get a piece of. That’s right 18% -22% for doing nothing.
- So you want more accounts (what cleaning service doesn't)? You purchase accounts for 3 times their monthly billing and the franchise starts providing them (if you’re lucky). These accounts are almost ALWAYS under sold and have terrible production rates. After all it's never about actually cleaning the accounts anyway, it's about how many times they can sell that account to a franchisee before the client gets pissed and cancels service.
- Ok so you’re busting your ass trying to get your business really going and the franchise needs accounts for a new franchisee they just sold. So the salesman goes around and looks for any problem they can find and gets your customer to sign a form stating they want a new cleaning crew. You get the boot, your billing is gone and there you are with nothing to show for your money.
- Wait there's more, your contract with the franchise is only good for 10 years. So after all this time you've stuck it out hoping for the best and they decide not to renew your contract. You go pound sand and all your accounts go back to the franchise for them to sell to somebody else. This completes the cycle and it starts over with a new, ambitious franchisee with big dreams of getting into the cleaning industry.
- So now you've licked your wounds and decided you've learned enough to go out on your own, think again! Read your contract, you can't be involved with another cleaning business within a 50 mile radius of where your franchise was located. So be prepared to relocate or face legal action, in most cases this clause lasts for 5 years.
The Janitorial Center charges between 4 and 5 times billing (average) for accounts we provide. This is a ONE time fee with no commissions, royalties or hidden fees after the fact. The accounts are YOURS, they are marketed for in your business name and the only person that can mess it up is you.
Appointment Setting
After you purchase one of our packages we review it and then run data for the area(s) you want appointments in. From there you are assigned a marketer and based on the start date you selected we will begin your campaign. All new customers will receive an indroductory phone call so we can review your campaign criteria. Any existing customers that would like a phone call, please state that in the notes at the end of your order.
No. If you want the same number of appointments you can go in to your orders and next to it on the right side there are two icons; one says returns and the other says reorder. Just click on reorder and follow the prompts, you can also tweak your order if you would like, however all your previous options will be seleceted automatically.
As we aquire leads they are attached to the"Order History" in your customer portal. This information can be viewed anytime, from anywhere on any device. The store also takes this information and emails it to the contacts you have listed in your portal. This can be the email you signed up with and/or as many contacts as you choose to add. You also have the option of having the leads sent via SMS (text messaging) or we can call you with the appointment details.
Delivery and Returns
We apologize but we are unable to accept returns on any downloadable products for obvious reasons.
Yes and No. If for some reason we do not get the Appointments you paid for we will issue a refund less any appointments that were attained. Please note, this is a Unicorn and does not exist! We always get the appointments you purchased!
Due to the amount of resources pooled to develop each campaign we are unable to refund Appointment Packages unless we fail to deliver.
General Questions
Yes! All orders can be placed with a customer service representative over the phone or using Live Chat. If assistance is needed placing an order Live Chat is the best method and has longer hours.
This happens from time to time if a password is entered incorrectly more than 7 times or your email client like Outlook malfunctions. Our servers are very protective and will blacklist your IP address thinking this could be a brute force attack. If this happens simply email us your IP address and we will remove the block. You can locate your IP address by visiting www.ipchicken.com copy and paste this number into your email and send to support@thejanitorialcenter.com Please include the nature of your problem and any events that took place so we can help you fix the root of the issue.

Memberships
For security reasons all membership packages are activated after a manual review. This process is usually very quick (less than 1 hour) even during non-business hours support staff is still monitoring the store.
Using The Store

Please check you SPAM or junk email folder. Sometimes email servers mistake legitimate emails for garbage. After this please add support@thejanitorialcenter.com to your "safe senders" list or "whitelist" this should prvent any future problems.

If you are seeing this you are probably using Microsoft Edge. Microsoft Edge is not perfected yet and does strange things on certain webpages. This is probably the only abnormality you will see on our website and does not cause any problems or security concerns. Continue entering your credit card information as you normally would and it will process just fine.

The easiest way is using a cpmove file. If you can backup your current website and attach this file in your Customer Portal we can easily restore it. You can also email this file to support@thejanitorialcenter.com. FTP is the second easiest way using a utility like Filezilla or WINSCP both are free and work very well. If you do not have the technical abilites to do this or simply don't want to we can handle the migration process for you.
www.yourdomain.com/cpanel - enter the username and password that was emailed to you when the account was created.
You can do this by visiting www.yourdomain.com/webmail then enter your email address and password. After this you will be presented with three options Horde, Roundcube and SquirrelMail. The most commonly used is Horde although Roundcube has a prettier interface. Make your selection and then click remember my preference. Your mail will be displayed on the next screen.
Regardless if your domain is registered with us or with another provider, to use your hosting space the nameservers must be set to the following:
